Job Summary
Serve as the subject-matter expert and technical lead for the Physical Security thread, overseeing all related systems-engineering products and deliverables for the Sentinel ICBM program. Partner with program SEIT leadership and the Office of Chief Engineering to develop a high-quality technical baseline, while establishing working-group sessions to ensure thread integration. Define and allocate requirements down to the component level, produce architecture definitions, and conduct trade studies. Execute verification and validation activities, author requirement-verification reports, and manage Technical Performance Measures. Mentor junior staff through knowledge-transfer activities and report on risks and opportunities. This Level 5 staff engineer role operates on a 9/80 schedule in Roy, UT, with 10% travel time.

- 3 years of experience leading teams in a collaborative environment
- 2 years of experience creating, updating, and maintaining system-performance documentation
- 9/80 work schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Active U.S. Department of Defense Top Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain it) with SAP approval capability
- Experience on large-scale, complex system development across multiple program phases: preliminary design, detailed design, integration & test, verification & sell-off, and transition to production
- Proficiency with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, practices, and methods
- Broad knowledge of complex engineering systems, including standards, configuration management, material review boards, process control, tooling, facilities, and software
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, demonstrated through high-value customer presentations and the ability to juggle multiple projects with competing priorities
