Job Summary
Oversee initial and ongoing range certification of the Onboard Test Equipment (OBTE) system, including RCC-319 and RCC-324 compliance for OBTE components. Develop and direct preparation of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for subsystem components while coordinating integrated testing with System Test and Range Safety personnel. Synthesize customer contractual needs into verification plans, execute technical verification, and support development of the Integrated Test Plan and Master Measurand List. Conduct daily briefings, approve test starts and Break of Configuration events, and lead Technical and Safety Review Boards. Manage a team of approximately five engineers, driving execution across cost, schedule, and technical performance metrics within a 9/80 schedule in Roy, UT.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience
- Master's Degree and 6 years of experience
- an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application
- current and within scope
- ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time
- 1 year experience leading projects or cross-functional teams
- Experience leading engineering development of systems related to Onboard Test Equipment

- Previous Experience standing up a lab environment
- Hardware in the Loop test bed

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- A current DoD Secret or Top Secret/SCI level security clearance
- to include a Single Scope Background Investigation
- a periodic reinvestigation
- an original adjudication date completed within the last 6 years
- 2 years of demonstrated experience in system integration and test principles and processes
- including developing test plans and procedures
- Experience coordinating and leading integrated testing activities with multiple test teams
- Electrical component test development
- test set development experience
- Flight Test Instrumentation design/development experience
- SCRUM Master experience
- Experience in RCC-319/324 and SMC-S-016 compliance
- coordination with customer ranges required
