Job Summary
Design and define system architecture for new or existing Sentinel software products while developing applications in an agile environment. Create automated test procedures and test plans to verify software functionality, and collaborate with the EMAS organization to establish automated tools. Lead technical efforts by interpreting complex algorithms and requirements, presenting solution options to management, and independently determining technical objectives for advanced problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- 12 Years with Bachelor's in related field of study, 10 Years with Masters, 8 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
- US Citizenship
- Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
- Experience with Agile and working in a cross-function Scrum team
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
- Experience developing React applications and Jest testing framework
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) languages (SysML/UML) and concepts
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Familiar with Software Development Plans
- Familiar with Software Engineering best practices
- Experience demonstrating excellent technical leadership, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills, effectively engaging with various stakeholders

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
- Proficient with DOORS, Cameo with the ability to develop and decompose system requirements
- Ability to evaluate risks and tradeoffs and present solution options to management
- Experience interpreting complex algorithms and requirements for implementation
- Familiar with Systems Engineering processes
- Ability to provide and implement solutions to advanced problems which require ingenuity and innovation
- Capable of working with minimal direction, independently determines and develops technical objectives of assignments, and presents work upon completion for high level review
