Job Summary
Lead engineering for the Sentinel Mission Defense program as Sr. Staff Chief Engineer. Responsible for certifiability of the Sentinel Weapon System, steering technical direction across design, development, implementation, testing, and delivery; coordinating with Program Management, Manufacturing, Operations, and customers; overseeing system design reviews (SRR/SFR/SDR/PDR/CDR/SVR/TRR) and ensuring alignment with the IMS, engineering processes, and quality standards; driving process improvements and affordability initiatives; supervising engineering teams and managing risks and opportunities to meet warfighter needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university
- 14 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 12 years with Master's degree, 10 years with PhD
- US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance (investigation date within last 6 years)
- Ability to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances
