Job Summary
Coordinate with business and project management staff to develop an integrated program measurement baseline for managing cost, schedule, and technical performance. Perform schedule risk analyses, resolve critical path issues, and utilize Gantt, PERT, and earned value management techniques to gauge progress and identify variances. Incorporate contractual changes into control systems and participate in month-end earned value reporting close activities to maintain realistic baselines. This role supports the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division in Roy, UT, focusing on Air Force ICBM launch control systems and infrastructure sustainment. The position operates on a 9/80 schedule with 10% domestic travel.
Required Qualifications
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
- Aerospace/Defense Industry Experience
- Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 0 years of related professional experience - OR - 4 additional years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel Macro/VBA
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 3 years of related professional experience - OR - a PhD with 1 year of related professional experience
- 4 additional years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Experience with MS Project, P6 Primavera, Deltek Open Plan, Deltek Cobra/MPM, Deltek Acumen, OR other Schedule Risk Assessment software tools
- Experience working in Microsoft Project Server Environment
Desired Qualifications
- Active U.S. Government Secret level security clearance (with the investigation in the past 6 years)
- Active SCI (SSBI) or DoD Top Secret security clearance (with a full investigation within the past 6 years)
- Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
- 1+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
- Experience with Schedule Analytics and Schedule Risk Assessment tools
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
- Strong analytical ability
