Job Summary
Determine tasking for yourself and others with minimum oversight while understanding and applying system requirements. Assist in all phases of the system lifecycle including requirements application, design, test, fabrication, and implementation. Evaluate electrical hardware performance, perform model validation through test and analysis, and conduct testing through all phases. Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements, then create technical reports and present technical information. Assist in planning and scheduling activities and interface with the AF Customer. This role supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production, and deployment of hardware for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems. The standard work schedule is 9/80.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM
- 5 years of experience
- 3 years of experience with master's degree
- 0 years of experience with PhD
- Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
- Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable period
- 2 years of experience in broad application of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.) for the development of complex systems of systems
- 2 years of experience with Requirements verification activity including test and analysis
- Bachelor's degree in STEM
- 8 years of experience
- 6 years of experience with master's degree
- 4 years of experience with PhD
- Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
- Current Special Access Program (SAP) approval at time of hire
- Mk21/Mk21A interface management experience
- U.S. Citizenship

- ICBM Experience (MMIII or Sentinel)
- Experience with SPICE
- Experience with TeamCenter/NX
- Experience with VHDL/FPGA/ASIC design
- Experience with Nuclear Certified Design

- Experience with Cable/Harness Design
- Experience resolving issues and providing technical support
- Experience using Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Capable of working with minimal direction and in team environments
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities
- Experience developing systems in joint collaborative environment between contractor and customer
- Familiarity with Sentinel Systems engineering PROPs
- Familiarity with Sentinel AVE Interface documents
