Job Summary
Integrate and manage program segments and functional teams by performing tactical day-to-day operations, including planning, monitoring, and controlling work scope. Review project status and budgets, manage schedules, and assess issues to develop resolutions meeting productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Generate Change Control Board packages and Budget Change Requests, maintain high-quality project management work products, and consult with senior leadership on major policy matters. Execute complex assignments independently with minimal direction, developing innovative solutions that align with organizational objectives while protecting customer satisfaction. This position operates on a 9/80 schedule (nine-hour days Monday through Thursday, every other Friday off) and requires a Secret clearance. The role is located in Roy, UT, and involves working across large-scale system development phases including preliminary design, integration, and transition to production.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience

- PhD and 4 years' experience
- Additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
- At least 1 years of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
- At least 4 years of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
- U.S. citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period
- Demonstrated track record/ experience in project management/ execution and closeout
- Skilled use of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management principles
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers, and customers
- Experience planning, scheduling, and managing projects with many different stakeholders
- Experience developing content, packaging, and briefing communication
- Capable of working with minimal direction, independently determines and develops technical objectives of assignments, and presents work upon completion for high level review
- Background/experience with of the defense acquisition process/phases
- Experience developing and executing formal Standard operating procedures (SOP) for program events
- Large scale / complex system development experience across multiple phases of a development program: preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell off, transition to production
- Experience with implementing and using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools, practices, and methods
- Strong understanding and broad application of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.) for the development of complex systems of systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities
- 9/80 work schedule availability
