Job Summary
Design, research, and develop mechanical engineering products for production on the Sentinel program; assess aging weapon-system conditions in collaboration with sustainment engineers to identify field monitoring solutions; perform CAD design using Siemens NX and Teamcenter; communicate with multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders to capture requirements and meet program objectives; conduct technical peer reviews; mentor junior engineers; require strong problem solving, planning, and organizational skills to deliver compliant designs for ICBM launch-related infrastructure; travel up to 10% and potential relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) from an accredited university
- Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance (within scope, current)
- Ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval
