Job Summary
Lead and execute manufacturing-systems engineering for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. Serve as the technical SME for Manufacturing Engineering tools and digital platforms (SAP, CPLM, SmartMES) to support production operations. Develop and communicate cost/risk analyses, schedules, and process improvements; coordinate with programs and functional teams to capture requirements and translate them into actionable manufacturing facilitation and scheduling. Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance; travel up to ~10% is expected. Relocation assistance may be available. Primary responsibilities include applying manufacturing engineering fundamentals to MBOM/OBOM, defining work instructions, and leveraging digital tools to optimize shop-floor interactions and supply chain interfaces; strong emphasis on data analysis, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. Preferred qualifications include Siemens CPLM, SAP S/4HANA, SAP PEO & SmartMES expertise, MS Excel/Project/PowerPoint proficiency, SAP certifications, understanding of MRP, and experience with system integration testing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM
- 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years with a Master's; 1 year with a PhD (Principal level) or 8 years with a Bachelor's; 6 years with a Master's; 4 years with a PhD (Senior level)
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret DoD clearance
- Experience with manufacturing software (ERP, MES, PLM/PDM)
- Strong experience in Manufacturing Engineering
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams

- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Interim Secret Security clearance and obtain Secret Clearance
