Job Summary

Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis for human engineering compliance documents adhering to Mil-Std-1472 and other industry standards. Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts, including use case development, requirements definition, functional decomposition, and interface definition. Ensure appropriate coordination between Human Systems Integration and other design teams while participating in technical planning, verification, validation, and cost risk considerations. Work within a 9/80 schedule supporting the Sentinel program's Human Systems Integration team.

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen
  • active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
  • ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval
  • Experience using Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project and Engineering Scheduling tools or applications
  • Experience with Compliance requirements and Mil-Std-1472
  • 3 years of Systems Engineering experience
  • 2 years of experience developing or reviewing requirements within DOORS or similar tool
  • 1 year of experience creating, updating, and maintaining system performance documentation
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM fields such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline (e.g., human factors or psychology) from an accredited university
  • 5 years of experience
  • Master's degree in a STEM-related field
  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • PhD in a related field
  • 1 year of relevant work experience
  • 8 years of experience
  • 6 years of relevant work experience
  • 4 years of relevant work experience
  • 3 years' experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) OR complex aerospace/defense systems
  • 2 years' experience in team environments with leadership responsibilities
  • 1 year of experience with interface products (IRS, IDD, ICD) and requirement specifications
  • Large scale / complex system development experience across multiple phases of a development program: preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell off, transition to production
  • Experience with implementing and using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools, practices, and methods
  • Strong understanding and broad application of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.) for the development of complex systems of systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
