Job Summary
The role involves overseeing and coordinating the design of Civil/Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical systems for Sentinel infrastructure projects. Candidates will interpret and verify industry standards, participate in design reviews, and support the delivery of various design packages. Responsibilities include developing facility designs that meet Weapon System requirements and managing risks associated with design factors. Required skills include engineering deliverables knowledge and experience with Microsoft tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
- 5 years’ experience for Principal Design Engineer; 8 years’ experience for Sr. Principal Design Engineer (with varying qualifications based on advanced degrees)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- Experience in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or electrical design on MILCON or major infrastructure/building projects
- Knowledge of engineering deliverables and relevant codes (AISC, ACI, IBC, UFC, MIL-STD)
- Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineering (PE) or Structural Engineering (SE) License
- Proficiency with Revit, Siemens NX and Teamcenter
- Active DoD Secret security clearance with recent investigation
Additional Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) clearance
