Job Summary
Architect the Weapon System drawing trees and manage the Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) while developing final system Installation Product Definition Packages. Provide functional design support on program procedures, interpret design engineering processes, and guide the design community on proper EBOM management. Author program-specific design and product baseline processes that integrate seamlessly with Test, Production Operations, and other functional areas. Support program-wide efforts to integrate the large supply base product baseline into the larger Sentinel CPLM Weapon System product baseline. Participate in technical reviews of new and revised division design processes and procedures. This role serves as a program-wide liaison within the Sentinel design engineering community, focusing on managing the large Sentinel Weapon System product baseline. The position offers a salary range of $72,100 to $134,200 depending on level, with a 20-day application timeline.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen
- Active Secret clearance at time of application
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (level 2) or 5 years of relevant experience (level 3)
- 2 years experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
- 2 years experience with 3D CAD modeling tools
- 2 years experience developing and releasing engineering models and drawings
- 2 years experience developing and releasing model based engineering Digital Product Definition Packages
- Familiarity with basic GD&T interpretation
- Strong communication skills across large diverse organizations

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter or Teamcenter CPLM Product Lifecycle Management Tool
- Experience with Siemens NX
- Experience managing the configuration of large Weapon System or Vehicle platforms
- Possesses a strong knowledge and background of design engineering release procedures and configuration management practices
- Strong knowledge and experience managing multiple product baseline Engineering Bill of Materials through effectivity management
- Ability to develop and implement solutions with minimal oversight given a challenging problem statement
- Ability to manage complex special technical assignments under pressure from engineering leadership and program directors
- Experience preparing and reviewing CDRLs
