Job Summary
Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for Command Systems System Integration Lab assets, coordinating with Subject Matter Experts and Design teams to define test objectives and mitigate risks. Lead diverse groups of test engineers across multiple scrum teams, overseeing technical performance, execution, and reporting while managing budget and personnel needs. Conduct daily briefings, approve test starts and configuration breaks, and facilitate Technical and Safety Review Boards to ensure verification and validation of ground system hardware and software configurations. Execute short and long-term integration planning for multiple concurrent baselines, driving execution against cost, schedule, and technical performance metrics within the Sentinel program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of related experience
- Master's Degree with 6 years of related experience
- Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance, current and within scope
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time
- At least 3 years of experience in system integration and test planning, procedure development, execution, and test reporting
- Understanding of systems engineering principles and processes, requirements decomposition and allocation, design and analysis
- US Citizenship
- Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
- Current Sentinel Program Access
- Experience leading a team or project; ability to lead and motivate others to meet complex objectives
- Familiarity with Atlassian applications JIRA and Confluence
- Experience navigating specifications and requirements in DOORS
- Experience applying systems thinking and systems engineering best practices to engineering development programs
- Previous experience standing up a lab environment/Hardware in the Loop test bed
- Knowledge and experience using CAMEO and/or Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Principles
- CAM/EVMS Experience
