Job Summary
Devise, develop, test, analyze, and construct complex components, assemblies, devices, circuits, and systems using manual and automatic equipment. Perform repairs, calibrations, and modifications while implementing company standards and ensuring employee compliance. Monitor tests on complex systems, collect and evaluate data for reliability and validity, and prepare process specifications and laboratory reports. Select, set up, and operate special facilities and equipment across broad technologies, including software and hardware integration through debugging and code modification. Assist engineers in creating designs and developing circuits based on general block diagrams and oral instructions. Make necessary calculations to compare data and recommend changes to achieve desired results. Prepare process and test specifications, revision notices, and laboratory reports as required. Select, set up, and operate complex and special facilities and equipment over a broad spectrum of technologies. Perform integration of software and hardware through debugging, writing code, and modifying systems. Perform maintenance and integration of peripherals and networks. Write user manuals and operate computer systems.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- Must have extensive knowledge of electronics principles
- Be capable of meeting 09 solder certification and successfully passing pre-employment skills screening
- Be capable of readily adapting to changing assignments and requirements
- A high degree of skill in the fabrication and testing of complex components, assemblies, devices, circuits, and systems
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 3 years of experience as electronics technician or equivalent combination of education (minimum of 12 semester credits in electronics or related field), training and manufacturing experience
- 2nd or 3rd Shift
