Job Summary
Develop low-level solutions for autonomous vehicle sensor suites by implementing and debugging drivers and communication protocols like TCP, UDP, and RTS. Manage hardware/software integration, vehicle parametrization, and comprehensive in-vehicle testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define high-level sensor requirements. Contribute to architectural design, refine software development processes, and assist engineers with electronic equipment installation. Ensure thorough documentation of all development phases. Work in a multidisciplinary team driving Level 4 autonomous driving solutions eligible for European road certification.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Automotive, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field of study
- Professional experience (at least 3 years) in Embedded Linux software development
- Proficiency in C
- Proficiency in C++
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in Shell scripting
- Strong understanding of microprocessors
- Strong understanding of microcontrollers
- Strong understanding of complex electrical system architectures
- Solid expertise in networking
- Solid expertise in communication systems
- Knowledge of sensor basics (LiDAR, Radar, Camera, GNSS)
- Experience with time synchronization (e.g., PTP/GPTP, latency, timestamps)
- Familiarity with ROS
- Familiarity with Docker
- Familiarity with DevContainers
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies
- Practical field-testing experience with complex systems (robotics, autonomous platforms)
- Knowledge of ISO 26262
- Knowledge of safe design approaches
- Business-level English
