Job Summary
Senior Writer to join Motorway's Creative Studio in London, shaping communications across B2C sellers and B2B dealer networks. Develops copy across the full user journey—from brand campaigns to web/app, email, and CRM flows—while maintaining Motorway’s voice. Leads long-form and editorial content, edits AI-generated copy, and defines prompts/guardrails to scale content with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) without compromising brand quality. Translates complex automotive topics (UK car ownership, EV adoption, live auction dynamics) into clear, high-converting narratives and collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, CRM, and Operations. Focus areas include brand campaigns, performance marketing, in-product copy, and thought leadership, with emphasis on SEO visibility and scalable content. Tools knowledge includes AI-assisted content, AI-assisted prompts, and content governance for consistency and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Strong track record in copy/content writing within a fast-paced brand or agency environment
- Portfolio featuring short-form marketing copy and long-form editorial pieces
- Ability to simplify complex topics without losing nuance
- Experience integrating AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) into workflow and editing AI-generated text
- Understanding of SEO and generative AI search
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholder opinions and edit constructively
- Craft-first mentality and ability to deliver quickly in a fast-moving environment
