Senior Workplace Engineer (M365 & PowerShell) with German

Job Summary
Senior Workplace Engineer focused on M365 and PowerShell, responsible for designing and deploying decentralized solutions via PowerShell, MECM/SCCM and Intune; managing group policies and configuration to ensure smooth operation of Microsoft 365 Apps; driving proactive monitoring and optimization of platform and tooling; packaging applications for deployment; providing second-level support for application issues; maintaining thorough technical documentation; collaborating across business areas to enable adoption of the full M365 suite; hands-on experience with software distribution tools and strong German and English communication; 5+ years in a similar role.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft OS installation and configuration — GPOs, registry, and related management tools
- Hands-on experience with a software distribution solution (SCCM/MECM, Intune, or similar)
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 Apps
- PowerShell scripting skills; proficiency in additional languages (Python, C#, Java) is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in both German and English
- Nice to have: Experience in software packaging — MSI creation, InstallShield, and building configuration files; Familiarity with AppX/MSIX packaging formats; Experience working with Jira or similar agile project management tools
