Job Summary
Design and build batch workflows in CA ESP, configuring job dependencies, conditions, and execution logic to ensure production stability for mission-critical financial platforms. Troubleshoot workflow issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes within assigned scope while participating in on-call rotation for high-priority incidents. Coordinate larger requests and initiatives, acting as the primary point of contact for specific applications and driving broader fixes across multiple workstreams. Manage the team's JIRA board, distribute work based on priorities, and make decisions on prioritization when conflicts arise. Ensure all updates align with risk, security, and change management policies, supporting audit requests and driving adoption of improvements across workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Broadcom CA Workload Automation dSeries (ESP) or equivalent enterprise scheduling tools (e.g., Control‐M)
- Background in batch scheduling, application support, production operations, or technical operations roles
- Strong analytical, organization, and problem‐solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
- Knowledgeable in scripting (e.g., JavaScript)
- SQL query development and data analysis
- SFTP and secure file‐transfer processes
- General understanding of server and network concepts
- Familiarity with ITIL, SDLC, and compliance‐controlled environments
