Job Summary
Lead the development and delivery of effective rosters and processes for the Workforce Management team, ensuring continuity, consistency, and compliance with business requirements and regulations. Proactively identify and address risks or issues with processes to improve efficiency and performance while building relationships with stakeholders to support system and process change. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to simplify processes, assist in developing training plans to meet operational demands, and contribute to the leadership of the team through day-to-day supervision and guidance. Manage the identification and reporting of safety risks and hazards to protect employees, customers, assets, and Air NZ's brand. This role reports to the Chapter Lead Rostering – Jets at the Auckland Airport Campus. Applications close 14/08/2026.
Required Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Workforce Management processes
- A strong understanding of Jeppesen Crew Rostering systems and processes
- Understanding of contractual and regulatory compliance requirements
- Demonstrates strong leadership capability
- You have a continuous improvement focus and a demonstrated ability to assess and understand customer value
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Proven success in delivering end user training
- A solid communicator, strong problem solver, ability to think laterally and demonstrate agility
- A high degree of resilience and flexibility to manage constantly changing plans and priorities
Desired Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Statistics, Aviation management) preferred but not essential
