Job Summary
Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Advocate with extensive experience in handling workers' comp claims, claim reviews, and advocacy for coverage and settlements. Responsibilities include monitoring claims activities, facilitating reviews with clients and carriers, collaborating with legal counsel on coverage and strategy, managing reserving and litigation aspects, analyzing losses for trend insights, developing resolution plans, training client staff on claims processes and law, driving onboarding for new accounts, submitting accurate documents to underwriters, advocating on denials to maximize coverage, and building relationships with claim trading partners. The role emphasizes customer service, professional conduct, risk management, data-driven analysis, and ongoing collaboration across internal and external teams. Location flexibility includes office-based roles in Canonsburg, PA; Plantation, FL; Plano, TX; and The Woodlands, TX, with a comprehensive benefits package and supportive work culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or related work experience
- Minimum 7 to 12+ years of experience direct handling of Workers' Compensation claims at an insurance carrier, TPA or brokerage
- Proficient understanding of risk transfer methods
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Time Management / Prioritization
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem solving, communication and presentation skills
