Job Summary
Install, configure, and administer Windows Server and VMware environments across global datacenters, managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and PKI services. Deploy Hyper-V clusters, execute EOL upgrades, and implement disaster recovery solutions using Zerto and Veeam. Troubleshoot complex server and storage issues, develop PowerShell automation scripts, and document technical processes and SOPs. Handle incidents and service requests to ensure SLA adherence while driving problem management and participating in infrastructure migration projects. Provide L2/L3 support and manage day-to-day operations within a team focused on continuous improvement and client value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required in Computers or related field
- 5 - 9 years of IT experience and worked as a lead handling major projects/initiative
- Hands on Experience in Windows & VMware and part of troubleshooting and RCA analysis
- Proven expertise in EOL Windows Server upgrades and VMware ESXi/vCenter upgrades
- Strong experience in Incident, Problem, and Service Request Management with focus on SLA adherence
- Advanced troubleshooting skills across Windows, VMware, Hyper-V, and Powerflex storage
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services
- Proficiency in VMware vSphere/vCenter, HA/DRS, SRM
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Hyper-V clusters, failover clustering, and replication
- Experience with DR solutions (Zerto , Veeam, Hyper-V Replica)
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting (PowerCLI a plus)
- Experience with patch management tools (WSUS, SCCM, Third part tools)
- Strong skills in technical documentation and knowledge sharing
