Job Summary
Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on industrial fluid transfer products, executing precision pipe welds from 1" to 24" in diameter across a wide variety of metals including aluminum and stainless steel. Fabricate structural components accurately to meet detailed production prints and CAD drawings while preparing materials through sandblasting, grinding, and manual machining. Train, coach, and support less experienced welders on the production floor to maintain quality standards. Work 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a competitive hourly pay range of $35.00 to $40.00. Join The Dixon Group, a global manufacturer in the hose coupling industry, to help build Swivel Joints and Loading Arms at the Creekside facility.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of professional production welding experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in both TIG and MIG welding
- Must be highly competent in performing Open Groove Pipe Welds to ASME Section IX Standards
- Active welding certifications, particularly those revolving around pipe welding
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a welder, fabricator, or pipe fitter in related industries (e.g., energy/power generation, manufacturing/chemical processing, oil and gas refineries, or commercial infrastructure)
- Experience with structural welding and reading production prints/CAD
