Job Summary
Senior Web3 Backend Engineer responsible for owning core backend systems for a multichain yield engine, shaping how on-chain yield products evolve in the coming years, and joining early to influence product, architecture and culture. Core tasks include taking ownership of backend systems for a multichain yield engine and contributing to the evolution of on-chain yield products. Requires 3+ years of production Web3 backend experience, strong integration with protocols and smart contracts (including complex transaction flows and RPCs), solid understanding of EVM internals and smart contract design patterns, and proficiency with Tenderly, ethers, viem, and wagmi. Nice-to-have skills include deploying smart contracts to mainnet and Solidity DeFi protocols development; NodeJS. The role emphasizes building secure, fault-tolerant, maintainable infrastructure and working autonomously in a dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building and launching production web3 backend systems
- Strong experience integrating with protocols and smart contracts, including complex transaction flows and RPC interactions
- Solid understanding of EVM internals, smart contract design patterns and industry best practices
- Comfortable with tools such as Tenderly, ethers, viem and wagmi
- Able to push through technical challenges with creativity and persistence
- Comfortable working independently in an environment with shifting context
- Care deeply about building things that users trust
- Care about secure, fault tolerant and maintainable infrastructure
