Job Summary
Lead a team of junior developers by identifying user requirements, prioritizing projects, and assigning tasks. Create wireframes for layout, write or review code, and run functionality tests to debug issues. Liaise with designers on UI/UX elements and collaborate with mobile developers to ensure responsive websites. Oversee junior performance and maintain up-to-date software documentation. Ensure web pages cover internal and customer needs while resolving technical issues. This role requires expertise in Javascript, Ruby, or PHP, with a preference for a Long Beach, CA-based talent who may relocate to Silicon Beach.
Required Qualifications
- Work experience as a Senior Web Developer
- Expertise in at least one programming language, preferably Javascript, Ruby or PHP
- Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience with mockup and UI prototyping tools
- Understanding of security practices
- Familiarity with network diagnostics tools
- Team management skills
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science or relevant field
