Senior Web Content Author (Contentful CMS)

Job Summary

Build, edit, QA, and publish high-visibility web experiences using Contentful, component-based design systems, and modern publishing workflows. Assemble pages from reusable templates and modular components while managing asset uploads, localization files, and Rest-of-World content for global audiences. Perform comprehensive pre-publication quality reviews including link validation, asset verification, and rendering checks to ensure SEO, accessibility, and accuracy standards are met. Collaborate with design, engineering, and program management teams to support sprint releases and major product launches. Fully remote (U.S., PST) contract role at $39–$41/hour through June 2027; U.S. work authorization required.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience authoring and publishing content in Contentful or another enterprise headless CMS, including page creation, asset management, publishing workflows, and content updates
  • Strong experience building web pages using reusable templates, modular components, and design systems such as Storybook while maintaining consistency across large-scale websites
  • Deep expertise performing web content QA, including link validation, asset verification, cross-browser and rendering checks, and pre-publication quality reviews
  • Experience supporting localization workflows, multi-market web publishing, SEO best practices, and collaborating across design, development, and content operations teams
  • Approximately 10+ years of professional web content authoring and publishing experience in enterprise CMS environments
  • Hands-on expertise with Contentful
  • Proven expertise performing web content QA and managing content through the full build-to-publish lifecycle
  • Experience supporting localization processes and publishing content for global markets
  • Working knowledge of on-page SEO best practices and web accessibility standards
  • General understanding of APIs, content modeling, and modern web publishing concepts
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while consistently meeting launch deadlines
