Job Summary
Senior Wealth Management Associate located in Portland, OR with a hybrid schedule (office three days per week, remote two days). Build client relationships, coordinate client service delivery, prepare and present analyses using financial planning tools to advise on cash flow, long-term planning, and asset allocation; manage onboarding, ongoing maintenance, tax documentation, and annual tax reporting in collaboration with CPAs; coordinate workflow with Client Service Associates; participate in client meetings and document follow-ups; leverage tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, eMoney, and Tamarac; opportunities for advancement toward Wealth Manager/Advisor within a collaborative, employee-owned firm. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in the wealth management industry (preferably at an RIA)
- Series 65 license (or willingness to obtain it within 12 months at Coldstream’s expense)
- Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP) designation - or completion of the first module of the CFP designation (or willingness to obtain one of them within 12 months at Coldstream’s expense)
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce CRM, eMoney, and/or Tamarac is a plus
- Exceptional communication, relationship building, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to delegate, think critically, solve problems, and manage a busy workload
