Job Summary
Develop personalized, comprehensive financial solutions for high-net-worth individuals by analyzing investment opportunities and delivering objective, unbiased advice across insurance, retirement, estate, and business planning. Lead client meetings to identify complex issues, collaborate with attorneys and professional advisors to implement goals, and drive portfolio management discussions including trading and rebalances. Oversee tax information gathering with accountants and mentor associates on complex financial planning topics while contributing technical articles to firm marketing efforts. Requires 10+ years of experience, CFP certification, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience working in a financial planning, accounting, legal or other organization that provides relevant experience
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
- Working knowledge of planning strategies and solutions
- Knowledge of investments and macro-economic as they relate to clients' investment goals and objectives
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Investment management, third party certification or licensing by relevant agency or association an added plus
