Job Summary
Serve as the primary relationship manager for an established group of wealth management clients, leading meetings to help individuals navigate complex financial decisions. Deliver comprehensive financial planning focused on long-term outcomes while collaborating with internal tax, investment, and operations professionals to ensure a seamless client experience. Help clients implement and stay accountable to their plans, providing guidance on retirement, estate, and tax-aware strategies. Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships and generate organic referrals from high-net-worth families throughout New England.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of experience in wealth management or comprehensive financial planning
- CFP® designation or actively working toward completion
- Ability to obtain and maintain required industry registrations and licenses
- Strong understanding of financial planning concepts and wealth management strategies
- Comfortable working with high-net-worth individuals and families
- Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence
- Ability to ask for and cultivate referrals through trusted client relationships without relying on cold prospecting
- Flexible and adaptable with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Team-oriented and client-focused, with the ability to partner effectively across functions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with tax-aware planning is highly desirable
