Job Summary
The Senior Treatment Engineer will plan, design, and coordinate multidiscipline projects in water and wastewater treatment, focusing on process design and capital improvement initiatives. Key duties include designing treatment facilities, hydraulic modeling, preparing engineering calculations, and developing process flow diagrams. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience are required, along with a Professional Engineer’s license. The role demands technical expertise in water chemistry, construction document preparation, and familiarity with SCADA integrations, ensuring effective communication with clients and project management responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college
- Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in the water and wastewater market sector
- Professional Engineer’s license in the state or the ability to gain licensure within 3 months of hire
- Advanced understanding of principles and state regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
