Senior Water Wastewater Engineer

Job Summary
Lead the growth of the Water Wastewater Group through business development, project delivery, and client base expansion. Recognized as a leader in designing water distribution and wastewater systems; market and secure work, build relationships, and ensure exceptional project delivery. Build, lead, and mentor a team from client care, business development, and technical perspectives. Independently perform and oversee moderately complex engineering computations; prepare engineering and design documents with computer-assisted design software. Write technical specifications, reports, and correspondence; coordinate with government agencies and client staff to obtain design information and approvals. Exercise discretion and judgment across tasks; learn and apply company standards and best practices. Maintain industry presence and demonstrate a track record of managing internal teams and projects toward profitability. Oversee and manage tasks, projects, and clients’ expectations for scope, schedule, and budget in water and wastewater planning, design, construction, construction documents, and construction administration.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in Engineering or a related degree
- minimum of 10+ years of experience
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Idaho or Washington or ability to obtain one within six months
- valid driver’s license and good driving record
- ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
