Senior Water Treatment Specialist

Job Summary
Lead design, construction, and commissioning of water treatment, remediation, and reclamation projects through senior-level process engineering input. Provide operational support, technical direction, and risk analysis for project management while developing documentation for site safety and maintenance. Travel to work sites to interface with staff, vendors, and regulatory personnel, ensuring worker safety compliance and promoting operational efficiency. Mentor junior team members and interface with multidisciplinary experts to achieve project goals. Requires a Professional Engineering designation and 7+ years of water treatment consulting experience. Based in Vancouver, Toronto, Saskatoon, or remote.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in chemical, process, or environmental engineering
- Professional Engineering designation
- 7+ years of previous experience working water treatment and consulting
- Previous experience in industrial wastewater projects
- Ability to work effectively with team members as well as lead independent projects
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
