Job Summary
Senior Process Engineer (Chemical Engineer) focused on water-sector projects in Bechtel India. Responsible for developing, reviewing and approving design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, ion balances, heat and mass balances, and process calculations for water systems. Lead and supervise engineers, review work, and provide technical leadership. Manage design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, line listings, equipment listings, mass balances and hydraulic calculations; lead HAZOP workshops; participate in 3D model development and reviews with customers. Attend engineering meetings with other disciplines; report weekly progress and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports. Utilize BSAP; coordinate across disciplines, suppliers, and contractors; prepare conceptual studies, designs, reports, and proposals including cost estimates and staffing requirements. Support a work environment that fosters transparency, teamwork, innovation and motivation. Requirements include a recognised Chemical Engineering degree and extensive experience in water/wastewater treatment technologies, desalination and water chemistry; strong reporting, design, and communication skills.

- Minimum 12 years of experience
- English level: Fluent
