Job Summary
Senior Water Resources Project Manager responsible for leading design, permitting, and construction services for water resources projects in San Bernardino, CA. Manage project delivery from start to finish, delegate to junior and mid-level staff, perform hydraulics and hydrology calculations, design stormwater infrastructure, and ensure safety. Maintain positive client relationships, mentor junior staff, and leverage CAD/flow-analysis software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, PC-SWMM, SRH2D, FLOD2D, InfoWorks ICM, HY-8). Requires PE in California or ability to obtain within six months; 15+ years in water resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in water resources, including stormwater drainage
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California, or ability to obtain within six months
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, experience with MicroStation OpenRoads is desirable
- Experience with drainage-related software programs such as HEC-RAS, PC-SWMM, SRH2D, FLOD2D, InfoWorks ICM, HY-8, and others
- Have a collaborative mindset and capable of working with staff from various backgrounds and experiences
- Existing relationships with clients in San Bernardino and the surrounding area are preferred
