Job Summary
Senior-level Water Resources Engineer responsible for delivering advanced flood modelling using TUFLOW hydraulics (and potentially HECRAS) and hydrology tools (RAFTS, RORB, WBNM). Tasks include flood risk assessments, contributing to major linear infrastructure projects, and liaising with councils and environmental approvals authorities. Role involves mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, experience in flood risk management and modelling, knowledge of Australian standards and Victoria project frameworks, and strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement. Flexible work arrangements are offered (hybrid options), with the opportunity for part-time or job-sharing and other benefits. Location: Melbourne, Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
- Experience in flood risk management
- Hydrologic and hydraulic modelling experience
