Job Summary
Senior Water Infrastructure Engineer in Tampa/Sarasota, FL responsible for project design and sketching design concepts to be developed by junior engineers, CAD designers or technicians; coordinate production of engineering drawings and specifications; develop and evaluate plans for new projects; analyze technical feasibility and cost estimates; supervise budgets and scheduling; coordinate with project managers; ensure quality control and review designs; may manage projects; requires a BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, 8+ years’ experience in water/wastewater pipeline projects, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; experience with stormwater, water systems, sanitary sewer systems, and large-diameter pipelines is preferred; strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in water / wastewater pipeline projects
- Experience with stormwater management
- Experience with water systems
- Experience with sanitary sewer systems
- Experience with large diameter pipelines (greater than 60 inches) preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
