Job Summary
Develop wastewater and stormwater collection system models, conduct system planning, and perform regulatory studies while providing technical input on new and ongoing projects. Lead client presentations, coordinate project deliverables, and contribute to scope definition and project pursuits. Guide local project teams, mentor junior staff, and develop new business opportunities to ensure successful project delivery. Enhance team technical knowledge by attending workshops, presenting at industry events, and reviewing professional publications. Travel may be required for site visits, client meetings, or project oversight. This hybrid role is based in Ohio locations including Cincinnati, Toledo, Cleveland, or Akron.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in water and hydraulic engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or a Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain one within one year of hire
- Strong experience with hydraulic modeling, particularly using SWMM and/or ICM
- Proficiency in GIS
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Deep understanding of wastewater hydraulic modeling and master planning
- Travel may be required for site visits, client meetings, or project oversight
