Job Summary
Build hydraulic models and verify sewer networks while developing catchment-scale strategic solutions for flooding and pollution risks. Run integrated model development, support scoping and planning, and deliver technical reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively. Act as a checker for hydraulic models, calculations, and technical reports to ensure compliance with specifications. Mentor team members, foster positive client relationships, and apply new technologies to solve complex problems for clients like Severn Trent and the Environment Agency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a similar subject
- Experience in Hydraulic Modelling GIS or Data Analysis, in particular ArcGIS or MapInfo
- Knowledge of Hydraulic Modelling or Asset management, in particular Innovyze ICM or InfoAsset
- Proven experience in water consultancy
- Ability to work both autonomously where required
- Strong sense of commitment
- Willingness to learn
- Desire to work in a dynamic deadline driven team environment
- Must be able to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
