Job Summary
Receive, pick, stage, and ship customer orders while verifying merchandise against shipment records and reporting discrepancies. Stock shelves in designated areas, assemble orders from stock into totes, and enter order data into the computer system. Perform inventory counts, research discrepancies, and assist with inventory procedures including controlled substance picking in refrigerated environments. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other motorized equipment to move inventory and maintain a clean work area to prevent injuries. Full-time Sunday and weekday shifts with a sign-on bonus. High school diploma or equivalent required with one year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education
- One (1) plus years of work experience
- Ability to read and understand the English language to compare and read product descriptions, names and shelf labels
- Basic mathematical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others
- Strong organizational skills; detail oriented
- Good overall understanding of DC workflow and can work with minimal guidance
- Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory
- Ability to train and assist associates as needed
- Maintain appropriate attendance standards
- Ability to effectively communicate and problem-solve
- Must be a team player
- Ability and certification to operate power equipment at high levels (20'-40') such as reach trucks, picker machines, forklift and comply with all safety standards and OSHA requirements
- Hazmat training certification
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to use a radio-frequency (RF) device to aid in picking or packing stock and/or other inventory tasks
- May perform controlled substance picking, stocking, replenishment and order fulfillment in a cage/vault or refrigerated environment
