Job Summary
Oversee warehouse operations by checking and booking stock, managing replenishment, and coordinating picking, packing, and outbound shipments. Ensure all assistants complete their roles while supporting Purdicom's ISO Accreditation, Health and Safety protocols, and risk assessments. Maintain accurate paperwork archives and liaise with couriers to track and collect items promptly. Deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required, lead small teams, and handle queries across all departments. Requires a forklift license, clean driving license, and ability to work in a semi-rural environment with flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in the warehouse environment
- ability to listen and articulate effectively
- Previous experience of managing individuals / small teams to achieve the warehouse goals
- Already have or able to gain knowledge and experience of driving a forklift truck
- Needs to be content to work in a semi-rural environment
- To be flexible on working hours and to work longer hours as the job may entail
- To travel when and where necessary if required
- A basic understanding of ISO9001, Health & Safety requirements
- Must be able to lead and work as part of a team
- Must be physically fit as lifting some heavy goods
- Must have a clean driving license
- own car

- To converse with all people throughout the organisation within all levels
- Must be able to deputise for the Warehouse Manager
