Job Summary
Senior Wafer Industrial Engineer (Operations Planning) responsible for updating capacity models, supporting short- and long-term planning decisions based on current factory conditions, managing factory-wide tools/systems, developing and refining models to evaluate scenarios for factory optimization, leading cross-functional project teams, and delivering clear updates on factory performance to leadership and forums. Requires strong capacity planning, proven cycle-time reduction and capacity gains through tooling consolidations and forecasting, ability to manage multiple priorities, and proficiency with workflow automations and data accuracy improvements. Experience collaborating with contractors/external providers and mentoring engineers; track record of expanding scope within teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering with 3+ years of experience or PhD with 0+ years of experience or equivalent experience and education
- Experience with capacity modeling to support strategic and tactical planning
- Proven track record of leading cycle time reduction and capacity gains
- Experience enabling tooling consolidations, offloading, and forecasting management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience analyzing factory-wide projects into actionable insights
- Proficient with workflow automations to improve efficiency and data accuracy
- Experience driving cross-functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority
- Experience collaborating with contractors or external solution providers
- Proven ability to manage and support factory manufacturing tools and systems
- Demonstrated commitment to mentoring and developing engineers
- Track record of expanding scope within teams and short-term assignments
- Experience leading cross-functional projects across manufacturing, facilities, and engineering
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
