Job Summary

Develop interactive graphics, visual stories and digital experiences for breaking news, enterprise journalism and major planned events. Create engaging storytelling experiences using 3D models and photogrammetry (e.g., interactive maps, explanatory models, animations, immersive formats). Build responsive, accessible experiences across devices; develop reusable components and tools to streamline workflow; integrate live data and automated feeds; collaborate with editors, reporters, and designers from concept to publication; contribute to editorial prototyping and experimentation with emerging technologies; coordinate with product and platform partners; ensure accessibility, performance, reliability, and advanced user experience. Senior-level developer skilled in 3D/spatial storytelling, WebGL/Three.js, Mapbox GL/MapLibre/deck.gl, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and modern frontend workflows, with experience applying AI-assisted tooling to improve coding and prototyping.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks
  • Experience with 3D/spatial storytelling tools
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript proficiency
  • Experience with data visualization libraries is a plus
