Job Summary
Senior Visual Designer for a 3-month remote-only project with RUN Studios and a large Seattle-based online retailer client. Lead concept development and visual communication for live keynote events, develop storyboards and animatics for motion graphics and live-stage sequences, apply brand systems across event touchpoints, direct motion for ideas, and deliver simple, elegant design solutions for communicating technically complex narratives at scale. Collaborate with creative directors, designers, PR, and agency partners to produce on-brand graphics across print, digital, and scenic environments; maintain visual continuity; iterate under tight deadlines; provide design QA during rehearsals and on-site. Requires 7+ years of experience in visual design, strong portfolio across print and digital, experience with live events or keynotes, motion design proficiency, and advanced skills in typography, composition, layout, and print production; proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Keynote.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional visual design/visual communication experience with demonstrable work in concept development, storyboarding, and motion direction for events or broadcast
- Experience designing for product launches or live events
- Strong understanding of motion design principles and ability to create clear storyboards/animatics
- Strong portfolio showing print and digital graphic design and motion storyboards
- Experience working with big tech companies on keynote or live event presentations
- High-level skills in typography, composition, layout, and motion design
- Practical knowledge of print production processes, file prep, color management, and vendor coordination
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Keynote
