Job Summary
Establish and execute the Colorado Rapids' visual identity by producing innovative, brand-centric promotional content that elevates the club's presence across all platforms. Lead a high-performing team of video producers, editors, and motion designers to deliver impactful storytelling, while overseeing end-to-end production workflows from concept through final delivery. Manage gameday operations and live event coverage, ensuring seamless execution of video, music, and motion graphics to enhance the fan experience during matches. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and Soccer Operations to align content strategies with organizational goals and drive measurable fan engagement. Work nights, weekends, and travel for match coverage to maintain a cohesive visual style and support the club's mission of inspiring and energizing fans.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in video production or related field
- 1+ year of team leadership and people management
- Strong understanding of video production and proven storytelling ability using video & audio
- Proven ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously
- Experience operating a variety of camera systems
- Experience creating motion graphics using Adobe After Effects
- Experience with video workflows from pre-production and scripting through capture, edit, delivery and archiving
- Understanding of best practices in lighting and sound recording in video production
- Ability to work nights, weekends, including standing at sporting or other events for extended periods of time
- Occasional travel to other markets for match coverage and networking
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with professional sports leagues/teams or for an entertainment property preferred
- Possesses knowledge of and passion for the sport of soccer and an understanding of the characteristics of soccer fans and soccer culture
