Job Summary
Senior Video Lead responsible for guiding the Mexico City editing hub, leading a Motion Designer/Video Editor team, and overseeing final video assembly, color grading, audio, and delivery for client projects. Lead post-production quality standards, mentor editors, collaborate with the Senior Producer and Associate Creative Director to align with brand requirements, and manage GenAI video workflows (Pencil/Runway) to enhance creativity and efficiency. Drive editorial direction, ensure timely delivery within a 48-hour studio window, and stay current with AI-enabled post-production techniques and motion design trends.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in similar roles
- Expert proficiency in video editing software — Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
- A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality video editing across digital formats
- Experience leading or mentoring a post-production or editing team
- Familiarity with GenAI video generation tools (Runway, Pencil's film generation capability, or equivalent) and comfort with AI-assisted post-production workflows
- Experience with motion graphics and animation (After Effects or equivalent) is advantageous
- Strong understanding of digital video delivery specs across platforms — social, broadcast, and web
- Professional proficiency in English; Spanish proficiency is an advantage for the Mexico City hub role
- Gen AI & Agentic Thinking
- Expert-level proficiency with GenAI video tools and AI-assisted post-production workflows
- Ability to set quality benchmarks for GenAI video output and lead the team in applying rigorous human oversight to AI-generated visual content
- Experience training others in AI video tools and establishing craft standards that govern AI-assisted production output
- Formal degrees are welcome but not required
