Job Summary
Senior VP of Preconstruction responsible for strategic leadership of preconstruction activities, including estimating, budgeting, value engineering, and client relationship management. Leads development and execution of preconstruction strategies, oversees estimating teams, drives cost-saving opportunities, and mentors a high-performing preconstruction group to deliver accurate, timely, and competitive proposals for large-scale projects. Requires deep knowledge of estimating methodologies, value engineering, and construction documentation, with strong leadership and communication skills to partner with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field; Master's degree or professional certifications preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in preconstruction management, estimating, and business development within the construction industry
- Experience leading preconstruction efforts for large-scale commercial, institutional, and industrial projects
