Job Summary
Oaktree seeks a Senior Vice President to lead in sourcing, structuring, and executing private real estate debt investments within its Real Estate platform. The role involves extensive market coverage, developing deep relationships with real estate partners, generating proprietary deal flow, and structuring complex transactions including senior loans and mezzanine debt. Candidates must have a robust network of industry contacts and exhibit strong negotiation and transaction structuring skills, alongside the ability to supervise junior analysts.
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in real estate debt origination or institutional real estate investing
- Proven track record sourcing and executing private real estate debt investments
- Extensive network of sponsors, borrowers, brokers, and lenders
- Strong transaction structuring and negotiation capabilities
- Experience supervising junior analysts
