Job Summary

Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Managed Care division, overseeing Medical Management, Bill Review, Pharmacy Benefit Management, and Ancillary Services. Establish and monitor key performance indicators, analyze operational and financial performance to identify revenue growth and efficiency opportunities, and lead organizational planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. Build and mentor high-performing leadership teams while negotiating vendor agreements and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations. Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to support client retention, delivering presentations to prospects, the Board, and executive leadership. Occasionally travel 10–20% for client meetings and industry conferences.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 15 or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience
  • Proven track record of improving operations, increasing revenue, managing budgets, and effectively leading a $30-60M business
  • Progressive experience in insurance services, managed care, or related business sector
  • Strong knowledge of statutory regulations, managed care services, vendor management, contract negotiation, and customer service delivery
  • Experience overseeing direct and indirect reports, including remote teams
  • Ability to manage a full suite of services for customers, including ongoing maintenance and issue resolution
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting to C-suite audiences, Boards of Directors, prospects, clients, and industry conference participants
