Senior Vice President, Hospital Operations

Job Summary

Oversee hospital operations, strategic leadership, and board support while leading consulting engagements to analyze, design, implement, and deliver solutions ensuring client profitability. Manage and mentor subject matter experts on consulting projects, executing them within negotiated time, scope, and budget. Collaborate with clients and CHC-owned hospitals to identify healthcare problems, rectify issues, and develop proposals for management services. Maintain close relationships with the President/CEO and COO to ensure supported organization needs are met. Assess client satisfaction and prepare remedies as necessary. Participate in business development activities, including client meetings and proposal presentations. Uphold company mission and goals through regular interactions with corporate staff and the business development team.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business, healthcare administration or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
  • Ten-plus years of experience working with senior-level executives and physicians in hospitals and hospital Boards of Directors
  • Three years' experience working in a consultative capacity with hospital senior executives
  • Strong hospital operations background
  • Demonstrated strong service orientation and a record of success in entrepreneurial service organizations
  • Knowledge of the healthcare environment, and the factors affecting hospital and physician operations and businesses
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable software applications
