Senior Vice President in Morningstar DBRS’s Fundamental Credit Practices Group focusing on credit methodology development. Responsibilities include refining and developing credit rating methodologies across corporate, financial, and public finance sectors; leading or contributing to background research (quantitative and qualitative); partnering with heads of rating teams to align on project needs; developing analytical tools for credit analysis and methodology development; overseeing junior analysts and mentoring team members; managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with regulatory compliance and rigorous record-keeping; leveraging advanced Excel, Python, financial modelling, and data analysis, including AI tools; and operating within Morningstar’s hybrid work model (four days in-office in most locations).
