Job Summary
Consult with internal business groups to provide high-level application software development services and technical support. Evaluate compliance with technology standards, program efficient code, and analyze, design, and develop test-automation suites. Integrate software components into fully functional systems while applying security and privacy principles. Guide IT management on emerging technologies and participate in defining corporate implementation strategies. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and ten years of progressively responsible experience, including expertise in Angular, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and Micro Services. Base salary ranges from $167,250 to $218,000 per year. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the Pittsburgh, PA worksite.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field
- ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation
- Utilizing Angular, HTML, CSS and JavaScript to build UI applications
- Writing Unit Test cases using JUnit and Mockito for complete code coverage
- Utilizing Agile software development methodology, and building software in incremental iteration in a SCRUM framework
- Deploying applications in a containerized environment using the knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Implementing and managing batch jobs written in Spring Batch
- Analyzing business requirements, gathering software development requirements, and documenting them in Jira application
- Designing and developing robust Micro Services using JAVA, Spring Boot Framework, Maven, REST APIs, MongoDB, and Oracle
